INFORMATION NOTICE REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This Information Notice has been prepared by TEKNİM ELEKTRONİK SAN. TİC. A.Ş. (“Company”) to inform the Company’s customers about the processing of their personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”).

a) Methods and Legal Grounds for Obtaining Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through electronic or physical means. Personal data collected for the legal reasons specified in this Information Notice may be processed and shared under the conditions for processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed by the Company for the following purposes, within the framework of the conditions for processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law:

  • Planning and executing activities necessary to customize and promote the Company's products and services based on the preferences, usage habits, and needs of relevant individuals,
  • Conducting necessary operations by business units to enable individuals to benefit from the Company’s products and services,
  • Carrying out business processes related to the Company’s commercial activities,
  • Planning and implementing the Company’s commercial and/or business strategies,
  • Ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of the Company and related individuals engaged in a business relationship with the Company.

c) Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and Purposes of Transfer

Your personal data may be shared with the Company’s business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions and organizations, and legally authorized private legal entities under the conditions for processing and transferring personal data specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. These transfers are carried out to:

  • Customize and promote the Company’s products and services,
  • Conduct necessary operations to enable individuals to benefit from the Company’s products and services,
  • Execute business processes related to the Company’s commercial activities,
  • Plan and implement the Company’s commercial and/or business strategies,
  • Ensure the legal, technical, and commercial security of the Company and related individuals.

d) Rights of Data Subjects and Exercise of These Rights

If you, as a personal data subject, submit your requests regarding your rights listed below through the methods specified under the "Exercise of Rights by Data Subjects" section, the Company will evaluate and resolve your request within the shortest possible time, and in any case, within 30 (thirty) days.

Under Article 11 of the Law, as a personal data subject, you have the right to:

  1. Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  2. Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  3. Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
  4. Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred within or outside the country,
  5. Request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and request that such corrections be communicated to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  6. Request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for its processing no longer exist, even if it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws, and request that such actions be communicated to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  7. Object to the processing of your personal data exclusively through automated systems that result in an unfavorable outcome for you,
  8. Request compensation if you suffer damages due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

Circumstances Where Data Subject Rights Cannot Be Exercised

According to Article 28(2) of the Law, data subjects cannot exercise the rights mentioned above in the following cases:

  • When personal data processing is required to prevent a crime or for a criminal investigation,
  • When personal data has been made public by the data subject,
  • When personal data processing is necessary for public institutions and organizations with legal authority to perform their supervisory or regulatory duties,
  • When personal data processing is necessary to protect the economic and financial interests of the State regarding budget, tax, and financial matters.

How to Exercise Data Subject Rights

To exercise your rights, you can fill out the "Application Form Regarding Data Subject Rights" available at [www.teknim.com] and submit it along with identification documents through the following methods:

  • By delivering a signed copy in person, via notary, or by registered mail to Dudullu Organize Sanayi Bölgesi 1.Cadde İsmet Tarman İş Merkezi No:1/32 Ümraniye/Istanbul-Turkey,
  • By sending a digitally signed version via registered electronic mail (REM) to [teknim@hs03.kep.tr],
  • By following a method prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Authority.

The Company reserves the right to charge a fee for processing your application in line with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Authority, where applicable.
